The Classic Wedding with Vintage Flourish

I personally love vintage inspired looks, and really got inspired by some key pieces that come to my mind when someone says "vintage"- a beautifully broken in piece of luggage, an elegant bicycle with a story, and an old, rusty key. With these pieces in mind, I've kept the groom's look simple in a beautiful, classic black suit and an eggplant colored silk tie to match the wedding's theme colors. The special little detail here are the gold tone vintage inspired watch cufflinks. The look is clean, elegant, with just that special vintage touch. Groom Style Tip #2: Hour love

We've become so reliant on our smart phones, pdas and other eletronic devises for the time. Most likely, your groom won't be carrying his Blackberry or Iphone down the aisle (at least I hope not!). But, since he still needs to know the time and look stylish, let's give him some wrist-love. Accessorize his outfit with a watch that he'll want to wear now and forever.

Grooms Style #5: Bali Hai

My brother and his lovely fiance, Joan, are getting married in Bali. Jealous? Um, yes. It can seem like a daunting task to get married on a beach (e.g., the heat, the sand, the humidity). However, I created a very carefree groom's look that complements an equally breezy wedding dress by J. Crew. Lightweight suits in linen are a great way to beat the heat (no one likes underarm stains) and stay stylish. I also like a good ol' pocket square as an alternative to some kind of orchid boutonniere (talk about predictable). Since I know my mom would have a fit if she saw my brother in flip flops at the wedding, I completed the look with a pair of white, lace-up sneakers.
